Of Hidden Treasures and Vintage Pieces...

When I'm out and about or traveling, I very much enjoy going on a hunt for vintage treasures – beautiful fabrics, trims and borders, beads, and other bits and pieces that frequently spark and inspire new design ideas. I wander around exploring bazaars and flea markets, as well as quaint little shops, embracing the atmosphere and chats with the locals. This is how I often discover rare and distinctive materials, just waiting to be transformed into unique, one-of-a-kind pieces for you. It’s a win-win that actually brings twofold joy: You're happy because you get a marvelous individual item, while nature and the environment benefit because existing materials are kept in the recycling loop, reducing the demand for new material from raw resources. Pretty cool, right?

These delicate natural grasses can only be pressed into the moist leather once, so each piece is absolutely unique. The leather pendant is hand tooled and comes with a "distressed" color finish, a process during which the natural leather is dyed, sanded, painted and waxed several times, to give it that vintage bohemian touch.
