Adjustable Leather Necklace with Handmade Leather Pendant

A beautiful nature-inspired statement necklace that goes with all kinds of outfits – an accessory that draws attention to the one wearing it, making the perfect gift for nature loving individualists.

The delicate natural flowers and grasses I work with can only be pressed into the moist leather once, so each piece of jewelry is one-of-a-kind – absolutely unique! The leather pendant is hand tooled and comes with a „vintage style" color finish, created in a complex process during which the natural leather is dyed, sanded, painted and waxed several times, to give it that distressed bohemian look.

This beautiful boho style necklace is adjustable, maximum length is 52 centimeters (20 inches). The pendant is 2 x 12.5 centimeters (0.79 x 4.9 inches) and comes combined with a glazed porcelain bead, matching the overall color of the necklace.

It sure is a rare find – a wonderful gift idea for many occasions, such as birthdays, Christmas, Valentines or Mothers Day… or simply a beautiful little treat for yourself.

What is »Low Waste" or »Zero Waste« leather?

Basically, this describes natural leather scraps that are leftovers from the production of fine leather goods, such as purses, shoes or even furniture, small pieces that usually end up in the trash. As these offcuts are often premium quality leather, new and unused, in my eyes this is a shame. So I decided to source some of my materials from these remnants, saving those leather scraps from ending up in a landfill. This way the manufacturers earn some extra money and I can reduce the amount of waste in the fashion industry, at the same time providing you with resource-conscious products that will let you show your loved ones that you care about them – and the environement, too.
